What is recorded here

Circular mound of earth and stone with possible cist (L. 2.40m) in centre (Price 1934, 40). Monument was formerly covered in forest. Trees were removed post-2004. Monument is in relatively good condition and its form is in accordance with that recorded by Price. Faint traces of a shallow external fosse surround the mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 December 2008

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
