What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle E-facing slope on the lower SE slopes of Baltinglass Hill. Undivided church (int. dims. 15.6m x 7.5m) aligned ESE-WNW and defined by uncoursed rubble walls (max. H 1.2m). There is a possible door in the W wall. The church lies towards the N side of a circular enclosure (diam. 51m) defined by a stone and earth bank (Wth 2.6-3.4m; max. H 1.5m) with a basal revetment of boulders surviving in places. No indication of an entrance or grave-markers. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
