What is recorded here

A recumbent rectangular slab (L 1.83m; Wth 0.89m) on the floor of the chancel of Baltinglass Abbey (WI027-024001-), lying E-W with the head to W. The surface is very badly spalled. A framed coat-of-arms in a recess at the top appears to comprise a shield surmounted by a helmet and mantling. Revised by: Mary Tunney Date of revision: 20 November 2012
