National Monument in state ownership No. 134. Remains of a circular hut (dims. 3.48m E-W; 3.23m N-S) known locally as 'St. Kevin's Cell' (Price 1945b, 39) situated on the hill W of Reefert Church. The walls batter inwards (Wth 1m; max. H 1m) with a narrow door to the E. There is a small rough cross in the centre of the building. (Leask 1950, 10-11) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 28 November 2012 See linked document with drawing from Patrick Healy, Supplementary survey of ancient monuments at Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. Unpublished OPW report, 1972.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
