What is recorded here

Unlocated cross, 29 August 2005. This is Healy's No. 187, 'located S of round tower' (WI023-008002-). Described by Healy (1972, 49) as ‘the lower part of the shaft of a cross of granite, 0.22m wide, 0.12m thick, and 0.6m high. Two parallel deeply incised lines appear on each face’. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien Date of upload: 28 November 2012 See linked document with drawing from Patrick Healy, Supplementary survey of ancient monuments at Glendalough, Co. Wicklow. Unpublished OPW report, 1972.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
