Unlocated well within the townland of Rostyduff Lower. According to Lynch (1994, 646) there is a holy well known as ‘St Brigit’s Well’ in the townland of Rostyduff that is mentioned in the 1930s Irish Folklore Commission, Schools Manuscript Collection (IFC S 914: 539; IFC S 917: 173). The folklore recorded that ‘a pattern used to be held here at one time on 1 February’ (Lynch 1994, 646).

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
