In river valley in upland area with Lough Dan to N views of Scarr Mountain to NW. On poorly drained rushy grassland with tributary of the Avonmore River 25m to S. Boulder with rock art (WI017-002---- ) 60m to S, second cupmarked stone (WI017-016----) 101m to SSW, bullaun stone (WI017-009---) 202m to W and cupmarked stone (WI017-011----) 250m to WNW . Earthfast granite boulder (H 0.5m) with quartz inclusions the exposed flat surface of which has 15 or more cupmarks (diam. 0.03m-0.05m) some of which appear to have been enclosed by rings. There are two drill holes visible on the surface of the rock which represent an attempt to split the rock. Six cupmarks appear to be arranged in a roughly circular pattern around a central cupmark
