Listed as a 'long cist' in the SMR (1986) based on documentary evidence (ua Riain 1940, 261) which mentions that 'some kind of prehistoric grave was discovered by some sportsmen in 1788 in 'Grannahbegg'; the report speaks of a skeleton in a stone chest seven feet long, near which lay a 'brazen head piece' and a 'rusty spear'. Not located.
