Set into a gentle W-facing slope of mountain ridge with steep slopes to the N, S and W and extensive views to the S-NW, 450m W of another cairn (WI016-012----). Circular cairn of mica-schist slabs (diam. 15.5m; H 1.2-2m). The base of the cairn is covered in peat. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
