What is recorded here

Situated in marshy ground on the N edge of a stream. Steep-sided circular platform (diam. 25m; H 0.9m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-3m; int. H 0.35-0.65m; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) along the perimeter. The entrance (Wth 1.5m) is at the SW beside a stream with a bank projecting to the W to flank the entrance. No indication of an external fosse or internal features. Another ringfort (WI015-059----) occurs 10m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
