The southern half of a circular ditch (diam. c. 12m; Wth 1-1.3m; D 0.2m) was excavated here as part of the construction work associated with the Greystones Southern Access Route (Excavation Licence 04E0467). No internal features or finds were uncovered. The remaining half is preserved outside of the road-take. A stone lined hearth was excavated c. 22m to the E. (Wiggins 2007, 492-3).
