What is recorded here

A series of pits, stakeholes and a roughly keyhole-shaped area which was filled with baked clay were excavated as part of the construction work associated with the Greystones Southern Access Route (Excavation Licence 04E0402). The excavator suggested that this may represent the remains of a corn-drying kiln. (Wiggins 2007, 489-90). Compiled by: Claire Breen Date of upload: 9 January 2013
