An annular ditch (diam. c. 13m; D 0.19m – 0.43m) excavated as part of the construction work associated with the Greystones Southern Access Route (Excavation Licence 04E0401). The enclosed area of the ditch contained 22 post-holes and three cremation which were placed in Late Bronze Age vessels. A series of pits, post-holes, a cremation (also placed in a Late Bronze Age vessel) and a number of linear ditches (one of which extended beyond the limit of the road take) were found outside the annual ditch. (Wiggins 2007, 490-2).
