An unroofed structure defined by post-holes which formed a circular area (8m N-S by 7.4m) was excavated here in 2003, prior to the construction of the dual carriageway from the R671 to Greystones (Excavation Licence 03E0196 (Site G)). Directly to the S a sunken hearth and a series of intercutting pits were uncovered, these contained a large quantity of charred cereal grains. (Molloy 2006, 546-7)
