Situated on the N side of a stream at the foot of a steep bank. Rough oval hollow (dims. 2m x 1.5m) defined on three sides by loose stones and small boulders. The hollow is now dry. The OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1928, 69) mention the tradition of tying rags to the surrounding bushes.
