What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. Oval enclosure (dims. 31m E-W; c. 25m N-S) defined at the W by a field boundary and at the S by a slight earthen bank. The remainder of the site is defined by a low scarp. A second field boundary crosses the site from E-W. No trace of a fosse, entrance or internal features. Shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
