What is recorded here

Situated at the edge of a small stream. A large irregular boulder (Wth 2m; H 0.5m) with a cavity (diam. 0.5m; D 0.2m) off-centre. Known as the 'Ballyknockan Wart Hole'. (O'Reilly 1995) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
