What is recorded here

The Ordnance Survey Letters (1838/40) note 'There is no account of the particular spot on which the church of Kilruddery stood, but it is remembered that in the year 1820 when the Earl of Meath pulled down the old house and built the present, great quantities of human bones were found at the north side of the house, where the clock is now up; and that they were all put down together again in the same spot.'
