Unlocated holy well within the townland of Ballinteskin. According to Lynch (1994, 641) there is a holy well known as ‘St Brigid’s Well’ in the townland of Ballinteskin that is mentioned in the 1930s Irish Folklore Commission, Schools Manuscript Collection (IFC S 907: 154-7). The folklore manuscripts recorded the tradition that the ‘water of it collected in a bottle by holding the bottle against the stream at a point where the water trickles into a rivulet is believed to be a cure for vomiting’ (Lynch 1994, 641).
