Situated on a northern spur of the Great Sugarloaf Mountain. Two cairns; the smaller, more northerly (designated WI007-070----) is very low (diam. 7m), the larger (diam. 13-15m; H 1.5m), just to the S (designated WI007-070001-) has a hollow at the centre and a block of white quartz is visible. (Information c. Manning and P. Neary) The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
