Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. A D-shaped area (dims. 61m E-W; 61m N-S) defined by a fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.15m). The modern field bank is set along the outer edge of the fosse at the N and E. The 1838 OS 6-inch map shows an inner circular enclosing element (diam. c. 40m). Possibly the remains of a bivallate ringfort.
