What is recorded here

Situated on a low, level natural platform on a gentle S/SW-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 24m NW-SE; 20.5m NE-SW) defined by a low earth and stone bank (Wth 1.3-1.9m; H 0.25-0.5m). At the NE and W remnants of the inner and outer revetting of the bank survive in the form of large stones up to 2m apart. No trace of an entrance, a fosse or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
