Situated on a shelf on top of cliffs overlooking Ardmore Bay to the N. This is a ringed finial cross (H 0.32m Wth 0.3m) with its base (dims. 0.3m x 0.28m; H 0.15m) which is set on a pier (dims. 1.5m x 0.85m; H c. 1.2m) abutting the W face of the E wall of Dysert church (WA040-011001-). The cross has an octagonal cross-section, and its top arm is missing. There are blocks of Dundry stone in the pier which are deeply marked with crosses by pilgrims attending the pattern at St Declan’s Well on July 24th.
