Situated on high ground on the S side of a NW-SE valley with the stream c. 200m to the NW. This is a shale stone (dims. 1.4m x 0.2m; H 1.5m) oriented NNE-SSW. It is adjacent to a church site (WA039-015001-), which is just to the W. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
