Situated on a steep S-facing slope. Described as ‘St. Brigid’s Well’ on the 1840 and 1927 eds of the OS 6-inch map. A small well (dims. c. 0.6m x 0.6m) is now covered in, and provides water to local houses. It was venerated in the 19th century (OS Name Books), but there is no eividence of veneration and it is not now regarded locally as holy.
