What is recorded here

According to Power (1952, 83), there is a place called Carn a'Dreoilín - the Wren's Cairn - at Monalummery, where a standing stone stood on a cairn (WA035-018001-). Both remain unlocated. Power, Rev. P. (1952) The placenames of the Decies. (second ed.) Cork University Press. Date of upload: 6th October, 2011 Compiled by: Michael Moore

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
