What is recorded here

Located within the fosse of promontory fort (WA032-028001-). Westropp (1906, 250) discovered a stone that he thought might have been ogham, perhaps reading 'AMARE', which was missing on a later visit (Westropp 1914-16, 219). From the illustration it is probably a plough-marked stone. Compiled by: Michael Moore. Date of upload: 27th September, 2011.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
