What is recorded here

Located towards the top of the SW-facing slope of the NW-SE Dalligan river valley with the stream c. 400m to the SW. Overgrown circular area (diam. c. 35m) defined by an earthen bank (at S: Wth 4.8m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.4m), with a slight outer fosse (Wth of base 2m; D 0.2m) SW-N. There is no visible entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
