Situated on a low spur on a N-facing slope. This is an Old Red Sandstone monolith with quartz veins and a rectangular cross-section (dims. 0.8m x 0.55m; H 2.2m), oriented NE-SW. This stone has fallen since 1991. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
