Located in pasture on a gentle S-facing slope of a slight N-S spur. There is local information regarding three areas of broken and burnt stone visible in ploughed fields c. 20m S of rath (WA026-023001-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
