Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 75m E-W; c. 70m N-S) defined by field boundaries on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map with the church (WA025-009002-) attached to the perimeter at NE. Situated towards the bottom of a gentle E-facing slope, the primeter is incorporated into a road bank NE-SE (C c. 60m) with a field bank continuing around to S (C c. 100m).
