Situated on a gentle E-facing slope. This is a stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 0.85m x 0.6m; H 1.8m). A standing stone (WA024-107----) is c. 70m to the E and according to local reports there were two other standing stones in the vicinity (WA024-073002-; WA024-073003-) associated with enclosure (WA024-073001-), which are now removed. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
