Situated in a hollow on relatively high ground overlooking the Tay river valley to the W, with the N-S stream c. 200m distant. A souterrain, now destroyed, was investigated in the 1930s by L. Mongey. It comprised a subrectangular chamber (dims. c. 2.4m x c. 1.7m) which was apparently lintelled, and a curving passage (L c. 3m) extending from it to the E. (Mongey 1939)
