Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a shelf on the E side of the Mahon river valley witht the N-S stream c. 350m to the W, it is visible a a slightly dished, grass-covered circular area (diam. c. 28m). It is also visible as a cropmark on an OSI aerial photograph series (2005).
