What is recorded here

Situated in the col between Cnoiceen Hill to the NW and the Monavullagh Mountains to the E. This is a circular hollow (diam. 3.3m) defined internally by close-set kerbstones, only five of which are visible W-N, with the remains of a low external cairn open at SW and partly overlain by a more modern cairn. (Moore 1995, 205, 210, 222, 228, 242, K4) This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
