Located on a NW-facing slope in the valley of the SE-NW Monavar stream, which is c. 60m to the NE. Circular grass-covered area (ext. dims. 8m N-S; 7.7m E-W; int. dims. 4m N-S; 4.7m E-W) with a small annexe or superimposed structure (diam. 2.5m) on the perimeter at W. There is no visible entrance. (Moore 1995, 198-9, 241, G14) This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
