Situated towards the top of the S-facing slope of Cnoiceen Hill. Circular grass-covered area (ext. diam. 12m; int. diam. 10m) defined by a stone spread. An annexe (int. diam. 2m) is attached to the perimeter at S, but there is no visible entrance. (Moore 1995, 194, 198, 241, G8)
This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996).
