What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle N-facing slope. There are two grass-covered mounds of broken and burnt stone. The W mound (WA023-066002-) is immediately adjacent to the E mound (dims. 9.5m N-S; 3m E-W; H 0.4m) which is truncated by a S-N stream. (Moore 1995, 196, 217, 241, F8) This monument forms part of the national monument complex at Coumaraglinmountain (National Monuments (Preservation) Order No. 4 of 1996). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
