What is recorded here

Situated in mixed woodland on top of a broad hill. Overgrown circular area (int. diam. 26.5m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.7-2m; int. H 0.4-1m; ext. H 1m) with stone-facing. There is no visible entrance or fosse, but a hollow inside the perimeter at NE that was visible in 1981 (SMR file) may be a souterrrain (WA023-033002-). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
