Situated in a level landscape. First identified in archaeological testing (02E0318) in advance of the N25 Waterford City by-pass (O'Hara 2006), and fully excavated (03E1283) as Killoteran 8 (Linnane 2006). This is a pit (dims. c. 1m x c. 0.8m; D c. 0,5m) with an oxidised base, indicating burning. (Linane and Ginn 2011)
