What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle N-facing slope close to the edge of a river basin. A stone with an irregular cross-section (dims. c. 0.5m x c. 0.5m; H 1.4m) is generally oriented WNW-ESE and damaged on the N side. The stone had fallen over by March 2011. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
