Situated in a N-S valley with a N-S stream c. 100m to the E. Archaeological monitoring and testing (06E0163) in advance of laying a water-pipe identified fa eature (Moloney 2006), which was later excavated (06E0279). A spread of burnt mound material (dims. 6m N-S; 3m E-W) was bisected by a field drain. A sample of oak charcoal produced a C14 date of 1134-1007 cal BC. Burnt mound (WA016-132----) is c. 80m to the S. (Janes, 2008; 2009) Compiled by: Michael Moore. Date of upload: 12th May, 2011.
