Located at the bottom of a S-N valley with the S-N stream c. 200m to the E. A shale stone (dims. 1.2m x 0.5m; H 1.3m) is oriented NNE-SSW with a second stone (dims. 1.3-1.55m x 0.35-0.45m) lying prone and almost buried 2.7m to the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 22nd December 2010.
