A thatched house is recorded on the terrier of the Down Survey map of Kilmeaden parish (1655-6) at Cullinagh. It remains unlocated. Two rectangular enclosures (WA016-138---- and WA016-139----), located in the S of the townland, c. 120-170m N of the Dawn River, may relate to this house which is probably also depicted on the Down Survey (1655-6) Barony map of Middlethird, though as a more castle-like structure.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
