What is recorded here

Situated on a N-facing slope. Subcircular scrub-covered area (dims. 38m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.5-4m; int. H 1-1.4m; ext. H 1.2-2m) which is destroyed NE-SE and SSW-WNW. An outer fosse (at N: Wth of top 7m; Wth of base 2.5m; D 1m) and external bank (at N: Wth 4m; ext. H 1.3m) survive NW-NE. The entrance through the inner (Wth 2.5m) and outer (Wth 3.5m) banks with a causeway (Wth 3m) is at NNE. A souterrain (WA016-043002-) is SE of the centre.
