Marked as a small circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on an E-facing slope. The outline of a grass-covered enclosure can be traced as a curve in a field fence N-SE (C c. 22m) and a slight scarp S-N (dim. 21m E-W).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
