Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 50m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a semicircular bank (C c. 45m) E-W on the 1926 ed. Situated towards the top of the NW-facing slope of a hill. The bank is incorporated into a field bank E-W (int. dim. 36m E-W) with a slight, grass-covered scarp defining the perimeter W-N (int. dim. 29m N-S). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Compiled by: Michael Moore. Date of upload/revision: 29th July, 2010.
