Excavated (00E0197) as part of the N25 Kilmacthomas re-alignment at Chainage 8900. Situated on the N side of a little E-W valley, N of a small E-W stream and c. 330m E of its conjunction with the NNW-SSE Mahon river. A spread of burnt stone (dims. 4.8m N-S; 3.4m E-W) extended outside the road-take to the NW. Fulacht fia (WA015-095----) is c. 25m to the W. (Elder 2002; Elder and Tierney 2002, 8-9)
