What is recorded here

Excavated (98E0575) as Area 1 of the N25 re-alignment (Tierney and Frazer 2008a). An area (dims. 6m x 5m) produced a hearth (dims. 2m x 0.87m; T 8cm), nine stake-holes and eleven small pits. Three sherds of Neolithic pottery from a carinated bowl were recovered from one of the pits. A cache of split flint pebbles totalling 32 pieces was found in a pit (dims. c. 0.4m x c. 0.25m) c. 90m to the ENE in Area 23 and may be associated (Tierney and Fitzgerald 2008).
