Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35-40m) on the 1840 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 37m NW-SE; 34m NE-SW) defined by an eroded earthen bank (Wth 8m; H 0.1-0.5m). The entrance at SE is evident as a slight dip in the perimeter. Enclosure (WA015-015----) is c. 90m to the SW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 28th July, 2010.
